These Stained Glass Workshops
are suitable for complete beginners, offering various projects all using the copper foil method of Stained Glass. Learn how to
cut and grind the glass pieces, apply the copper foil and then soldering
the pieces together. A great introduction to Stained Glass making, providing you with the basic skills to create beautiful glass hangers for your home or to give as a very special gift.
There are both half day and full day workshops to
choose from.These workshops are suitable for adults. Those aged 15/16 years are very welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult taking part in the session.

'Wee Hooses' Half Day Workshop - £65ppSaturday 6th July 10am - 2pm - 3 places availableWe will begin with a bit of practise cutting. Then designing/planning your project and choose your favourites from wide selection of coloured and textured glass. Learn how to cut and shape small pieces of glass, carefully apply the copper foil before soldering and adding wire windows, doors and chimneys. To finish off, add wire hooks to hang your art and darken the solder line with a patina if you would prefer.You will take your project home at the end of the session.Deposit for this workshop is £25pp

Star & Wee Hooses Full Day Workshop - £110ppSaturday 27th July 10am - 5pm 1 place available
We will begin the day with making the star project - after a bit of practise cutting you will choose your glass from a wide selection of coloured and textured glass. Learn how to shape the pieces to fit, carefully apply the copper foil and solder the pieces together. Once your star is complete, we will take a break for lunch (usually 30 - 45 mins) You can bring along a packed lunch or there are several cafes and takeaways near by. After lunch we will plan/design your row of 'Wee Hooses', then spend the afternoon creating your design using the skills learned in the morning session.Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available to keep you going through the day.Deposit for this workshop is £40pp*****Everlasting Flowers Workshop
Saturday 21st September 202410am - 5pmCreate your own beautiful stained glass flowers. Using the copper foil method, you will make up to 5 individual stems of simple flowers and/or leaves.this workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience.*****Design your flowers and leaves with simplicity in mind, then cjoose form our huge selection of gorgeous coloured and textured glass.Learn how to cut and shape the small pieces of glass. Then carefully apply the copper foil ready for soldering and adding wire stems. You can then choose to darken the soldered edges of your flowers with a patina, before finishing off your glass garden by fixing them on to a rustic wooden block or you can add little wire hooks to hang your flowers individually.We will take a short break (1/2 hour) for lunch - please bring along a packed lunch. Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be available to keep you going through the day.This workshop is suitable for adults.
