Half Day Glass Fusing Workshop

During this 4 hour class you create several pieces of Fused art glass made to your own design and preferred colours.
Choosing from a wide selection of coloured sheet glass, glass frits (crushed and powdered glass) stringers and non -glass inclusions, you will create a selection of fused glass art and homewares.
We begin by learning the basics of glass fusing and what happens in the kiln.The next stage is practise cutting and shaping the glass. You will then design and make 2 sample tiles - these can be fired as tiles, or slumped into a small dish for an addditional cost of £1 per tile.
After a well earned tea break, you can decide which project you would like to work on during the afternoon.

Classes have a maximum of 4 participants to allow plenty of individual attention.
