Ever fancied having a go at glasswork?...then this 1 day course is just what you need to get started.
Choose your glass from a varied selection of textures and colours. Then using a prepared pattern, you will learn how to cut and shape the glass, and how to cut and place the lead came. Then, the art of soldering the piece together and finally cementing and polishing.
Your mirror will measure 30cm x 30cm when complete.
This class equips you with the basic techniques, but if you would like to further your new skills or explore other glass crafts, we also offer a 2 day beginners class, a 6 week stained glass class and glass fusing workshops.
Please note that this class must have 2 participants to go ahead - perhaps you have a friend that might like to join you.

This class will only have maximum of 4 participants per session. 15/16 year olds are very welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult taking part in the workshop.
The shop will be closed for the duration of the workshop (if fully booked).
We are unable to provide lunch but there are a number of small independent hotels and cafes which can provide sit in and takeaway meals. This also helps to support other local businesses
There is a supermarket is only 3 minutes walk away....or you can bring along a packed lunch. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided to keep you going.
